Pre-K

In Pre-Kindergarten, your child will learn reading and writing skills including identifying letters, letter sounds, rhyming, and phonological awareness. In math they will explore counting, numbers, shapes, patterns, comparing size and attributes of objects, and beginning addition and subtraction. They will explore science and social studies topics such as family, “all about me,” our community, healthy habits, our earth, and living things. Students will learn in whole groups and small groups and develop social and emotional skills such as identifying feelings, sharing, showing kindness, and being part of a classroom community.
